Product Information

What does "Baagi Milaygiin" mean?

Baagi Milaygiin means "Grandmother’s Spirit" in the Gamilaraay language. Our brand is a tribute to the wisdom, truth, and healing knowledge of our ancestors, specifically acknowledging Founder Deb Munson’s Mother (Nana Leslie, a proud Gomeroi woman) and Nana Smith (a proud Dharug woman).

Who owns Baagi Milaygiin?

We are a proudly 100% Aboriginal owned and operated business. Our founder, Deb Munson, is a Gomeroi woman with over 38 years of experience in the hair and beauty industry, dedicated to sharing traditional bush medicine in a modern way.

Where are your products made?

All our products are handcrafted with love on Birapai Country (Mid-North Coast, NSW), using ingredients sourced sustainably from the land and our farm in the Warrumbungles.

Brand & Heritage

Are your products suitable for sensitive skin or babies?

Yes. Our range is made from 100% natural and organic ingredients, free from harsh chemicals, SLS, and parabens. Our Bush Oil and Healing Oil are specifically formulated to be gentle enough for a baby’s delicate skin and are often used to soothe eczema and nappy rash.

What makes your Manuka Oil special?

Our Manuka Oil is farm-grown and wildcrafted. Unlike many mass-produced oils, ours is grounded in culture. It is a powerful "skin medicine" known for its antibacterial properties.

Pro Tip: Many of our customers use it as a glowing primer before applying makeup!

How do I use the Ochre Magic Exfoliant?

Ochre Magic is hand-ground the traditional way using sandstone and native ochres. To use, mix a small amount with water or our Lemon Myrtle Cleanser to create a fresh paste. Buff gently into the skin and rinse. For a deeper ritual, pair it with our White Clay Mask.

Can I use the Oil Rollers on my children?

Absolutely. Our Native Oil Rollers (like Dreamtime or Gamilaraay Dreaming) are designed for the whole family. For restless little ones, we recommend rolling the oil onto the soles of their feet or wrists to help them feel grounded and calm.

Orders, Shipping & Services

Do you offer wholesale or corporate gifting?

Yes! We love partnering with like-minded businesses. Whether you are looking for stockist opportunities or unique Corporate Gift Boxes that speak to wellbeing and tradition, please reach out via our Wholesale Enquiry Form or contact us directly.

What is your cancellation policy for healing sessions?

For our Pamper Parties and Healing Services, we require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment will incur a 100% cancellation fee, as these sessions require significant preparation of fresh botanicals and travel.

How should I store my products?

Because our products are 100% natural and free from synthetic preservatives, we recommend storing them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. In extreme heat, keeping your Toner Mist in the fridge provides an extra-refreshing "revive and refresh" ritual!

Sustainability & Ethics

Are your products environmentally friendly?

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We use eco-friendly packaging, practice ethical wildcrafting (only taking what we need from the land), and ensure our farming methods protect Country for future generations.

Are your ingredients 100% Australian?

Yes. We pride ourselves on using native Australian botanicals—like Gumbi Gumbi, Kunzea, Quandong, and White Cypress—harvested right here on our soil.
